1. Do you honor de jubilado discount? Ofrecen descuento de jubilado?

Yes we do. Please keep in mind that the jubilado discount MUST be requested with NO EXCEPTIONS at time of reservation and proper Panamanian ID is required. Jubilado rate in not available online as our web rates are already discounted promotional rates. Once a regular or promotional rate is applied to your reservation, we can no longer change it to a jubilado rate. The jubilado discount is personal and not transferrable, therefore, each guest elegible for this discount, must pay his or her portion of the entire stay. Group reservations are not elegible for this discount.

El descuento de jubilado no está disponible en nuestro sistema de reservas en linea siendo que nuestras tarifas web son tarifas promocionales descontadas. Si a su reserva se le ha aplicado una tarifa regular o promocional, a esta ya no se le podrá aplicar el descuento de jubilado. El descuento de jubilado es personal y no trasferible. Cada huésped que tenga este descuento, deberá cancelar personalmente su propia porción de la estadía. No aplica para reservas de grupo donde no todos sean jubilados.
2. Are pets allowed? Admiten mascotas?

We welcome small, quiet and housebroken pets! Here is our Pet Policy: When making your reservation at our resort, the pet owner agrees to the Hotel’s pet policies, to be responsible for any damage or injury caused by the pet, and to absolve the Hotel staff of any liability if the pet or another guest is injured. One pet allowed per room, and hotel needs to be informed at time of reservation. We require a $100.00 refundable deposit at time of arrival. We require that your pet never be left unattended in the hotel. Barking may disturb other guests. Should guests hear and complain about barking we may have to relocate you. Pets must be leashed or held when out of the guest room. Pets are not permitted on the beds or furniture. This will forfeit your deposit. You may walk your pet on resort grounds; however we expect you to clean up after your pet.

Le damos la bienvenida a mascotas pequeñas y bien portadas. Esta es nuestra política: Al momento de hacer su reserva, el huésped acepta nuestras políticas de mascotas y será responsable por todo daño causado por su mascota tanto a la infraestructura del hotel como a otros huéspedes. Una sola mascota por habitación previa notificación al hotel al momento de la reserva. Se requiere un deposito de US$100.00 al momento de la llegada. En ningún momento la mascota puede ser dejada sola o sin supervision. Los ladridos del perro pueden molestar a otros huéspedes. En caso de alguna queja habrá que cambiarlo de habitación según la disponibilidad del momento. Las mascotas no pueden andar sueltas por el hotel. No permitir que su mascota duerma en las camas o sofas. De ser asi, se perderá el deposito. Por favor asegurarse de recoger los desechos de su mascota.
3. Is there a minimum night stay requirement?
Minimum stay requirements do apply to some dates due to high demand for our rooms. You will be informed at the time of booking if a minimum stay applies to your dates.
4. Do you offer room service?
Unfortunately, we do not offer room service at this time.
5. Can dvd, game consoles or other players be connected to the TV in the room?
Yes, absolutely.
6. Can we reserve a specific room?
Yes, you can make a specific request and the we will make every effort to allot your room as requested but due to operational reasons, it will not be guaranteed.
7. Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard.
8. Where can I find groceries and general shopping needs?
For all your grocery, pharmacy, personal items, and provisioning needs, stop by any of the many convenience stores located 10 minutes away in the town of Pedasì.
9. Can I rent a car while at Villa Romana?
Car rentals are available at the front desk. Daily rates start at approximately US$45.00 and the rental company (Hertz or Avis) charges and additional $50.00 to drop-off the vehicle at Villa Romana.
10. Are beach towels provided?
Yes, beach towels are provided for your convenience.
11. Is babysitting available?
Yes, babysitting is available for an additional cost per hour and has to be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
12. Do you cater to vegetarians and vegans?
Special menus can be arranged at time of reservation and we will do our best to accommodate all requests.
13. What is the dress code at the restaurant?
We do appreciate a 'Summer Casual' dress code.
14. Do I have to make reservations at the restaurant?
Due to the reduced size of our restaurant, lunch and dinner reservations are strongly encouraged.
15. Can I drink the tap water?
While our tap water comes from a well and it is safe to drink, we suggest not to since you may not be used to it.
16. What is the electrical voltage in Panama?
110V 60Hz
17. Are non-smoking rooms available?
All rooms are non-smoking.
18. Do you have rooms for disabled people?
Fully modified disabled rooms, such as you may find in the United States, are not available. Ground floor rooms are available. However, some areas and facilities at Villa Romana may not be accessible to disabled persons.
19. Do you provide cribs?
Cribs are available upon request at no charge.
20. What is the capacity of each room category?
All our rooms and suites can accommodate up to 4 guests, 4 adults max. The Ocean Villa can accommodate up to 6.
21. Is there an ATM at Villa Romana?
No, the nearest ATM is 10 minutes away in Pedasì.
22. Is internet access available?
Yes, complimentary WIFI internet access is available in the rooms, restaurant and pool areas.
23. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; and check-out time is 12:00 noon. However, if the room is ready, we will allow the guest to check-in early on the day of arrival. We might extend the check-out time one or two hours, but because they usually need to get the room ready for newly arriving guests, it may not be possible. The guest needs to check with the front desk clerk. We will lock up baggage so the guest can go sightseeing or eat while waiting for their room or before departure.
24. When will I be charged for my hotel reservation?
Your credit card will be charged a one (1) night deposit at the time of booking that includes all taxes and fees. Any additional costs such as tours, meals, laundry, etc. will be charged to your account at check-out. Exclusive and promotional rate payments will be charged in full at time of booking.
25. Can I add additional people to an existing hotel booking?
Yes you can. Please note that additional charges may apply.
